MELBOURNE Cup fever will clip clop into the Rosamond Bowling Club a day early this year with the help of dedicated evening of entertainment.
The club will open the floor to popular band the Clip Clop Club to help residents get into the racing spirit on cup eve.
Newport resident Gary Adams has been at the forefront of the seven-piece band for decades and is glad to bring the Clip Clop Club back to the West.
Bowling club member Barry Everard said the club was eager to host the band in what would be one of the biggest performances the Maribyrnong venue has staged in recent times.
The event will be held at the Rosamond Bowling Club on Monday 5 November, and all proceeds will be injected back into the club.
